Bold & Zesty Steak Marinade for Perfect Grilled Flavor

This marinade creates a perfect balance of savory, tangy, and herby notes. The soy and Worcestershire deliver deep umami flavor, while lemon juice adds brightness and helps tenderize the beef. Olive oil and herbs tie everything together, giving your steak that irresistible grilled aroma and restaurant-quality finish.

Ingredients

0.25 cup soy sauce
0.25 cup lemon juice
0.5 cup olive oli
0.25 cup Worcestershire sauce
2 tbsp garlic
3 tbsp basil
2 tbsp parsley
1 tbsp black pepper

Instructions

In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, lemon juice, olive oil, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, basil, parsley, and pepper until fully combined.
Place your steaks—ribeye, sirloin, or flank—in a resealable plastic bag or shallow dish.
Pour the marinade over the steaks, ensuring they’re completely coated.
Seal or cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or overnight for maximum flavor.
Before grilling, remove the steaks from the marinade and let them rest at room temperature for about 20 minutes.
Grill over medium-high heat, searing each side to your preferred doneness.
Let rest for 5 minutes before slicing to lock in juices.
